Today our guest is Zhou Ruizhu, a 2021 undergraduate majoring in Logistics Management from the Delaware School of Data Science of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and a professor of Law from Peking University.
02.Opportunities and challenges
From the major of finance and economics to the major of politics and law, it is undoubtedly a huge change and challenge to study a major that I have never touched before in my spare time. "It was in the winter vacation of my junior year that I decided to pursue a postgraduate study in a different major. There was a course called Commercial Law in my junior year. I thought law was very interesting and idealistic. Zhou said this when asked what opportunity made her decide to pursue graduate studies in a different field.
Zhou did not stay in his comfort zone, but chose to pursue his heart, practice, enter the field of public law, and bravely walk out of his comfort zone.

When Zhou recalled the hardships along the way, she said: "I encourage my younger students to fall in love sincerely. In my review of the most difficult time, in fact, my boyfriend side by side with me to come over, we are the best comrades. My boyfriend will support me no matter what choice I make, so when I was rejected and wanted to leave the North, my boyfriend was the most supportive." In addition, she also talked about her dog: "Every day when reviewing, my dog Qiaoqiao will come to smell me and look at me for more than an hour, without disturbing me, and then play with her for a while to learn." In fact, my life is very happy every day. My boyfriend and dog Jojo are the biggest credits! I also met a lot of like-minded friends who are kind, hardworking and sincere."
Although it is difficult to cross the insurance, but that period of unswerving support, encouragement, healing days will become the most beautiful memories of Zhou.
When talking about how to arrange the time to learn this professional course and legal knowledge, she succinctly summed up the days of her struggle: "Time is crowded, go to the library more." Freshman students, you have just entered a new environment, you need to look at relationships correctly, you must be clear about what type of person you are, social networking is a necessity for some people, but it is completely OK for some people not to socialise or a small amount of socialisation. So, for people who need to socialise, find ways to build relationships through channels; For people who don't need to get positive energy from social interactions, in fact, interpersonal relationships are not a necessity for them, so there is no need to take interpersonal relationships so seriously, and the first thing is not learning, but happiness and health. "

But if I didn't enter the field of public law and went to private law, I would definitely still do my duty for the good of society.
